So What's Catalyst About?
Ellen Livingood launched Catalyst because there are so few places to turn for help in strengthening agency~church collaboration. Drawing on her years of experience in missions mobilization with both local churches and agencies, she helps a wide variety of mission organizations and local congregations to expand and improve their cooperative efforts through consulting, audits, the monthly Postings e-newsletter, conferences, and training opportunities.
Since its launch in 2005, Catalyst has served clients such as United World Mission, Arab World Ministries, TEAM, Pioneers, WEC International-USA, CrossWorld, and others. She also has coached churches large and small in missions strategy development and specific partnership skills. Hundreds of missions leaders subscribe to Catalyst's monthly Postings e-newsletter.
Expertise Built on Wide Experience in Both Agency and Church
Ellen brings to Catalyst an extensive background in communications, mission agency administration, and consultation with both churches and agencies. For a number of years, she served both sides of the church partnership process as both coordinator of TEAM's church partnerships office and director of global outreach at Grace Point Church in Newtown, PA. Today from a base in suburban Philadelphia, Catalyst serves the missions community across North America and around the globe, calling on the expertise of various other experienced mobilizers as needed.
